June 11, 2010: Fullmetal Alchemist has ended. ;_; ;_; The last chapter of the manga came out this month in Japan (and was over 100 pages!) Thank you, Arakawa-sensei, for creating such a brilliant and amazing series and for sharing with us such wonderful, unique, and realistic characters. FMA: Brotherhood will be ending soon as well.

May 3, 2009: You can now watch Funimation's subtitled episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Hulu.com. Episodes appear on Hulu approximately two weeks after their airing in Japan. You can still watch the episodes 4 days after their Japanese release on Funimation.com (click "Watch Video").

April 5, 2009: The new Fullmetal Alchemist anime series (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) has begun airing in Japan. According to Anime News Network, the series will be streamed online within a week of the Japanese airdates in the following countries: North America, Australia, France, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. In North America, episodes will air with Japanese voices and English subtitles on Funimation.com four days after their Japanese airings. The first episode will begin streaming on April 9, 2009 at 12:00pm ET. Please see the Anime News Network post for other international dates.
